____________________________________ The slideshow feature is a handy way to display rotating pictures. Many of our clients enjoy this sort of thing, and it's not too hard to set up. 1. You'll need to select the pictures to use, and get them to the appropriate size. (I prefere to crop all images in a slideshow to the same size, though it is possible to a do a slideshow with differently sized images. 2. Upload your pictures (Top menu: Files > Upload Files) 3. Top Menu: Add Content > Slideshow 4. Resize the black box to the desired size using the parameters at the top of the page. 5. Select your pictures from the File List and use the Add button to fill in the Play List. You can also change their order with the Up and Down buttons. 6. Choose the Interval (time each pictures stays up), what kind of Transition you want (cross-fade, take), and Duration (how long the transition takes). 7. Hit "OK" and then drag into position. ![]() ________ ____________ Your final result should be something like this. Special Notes: ⢠The Duration of the transition in a slide show is smoother when the value is higher. However, the Duration can't be longer than the actual Interval. For example: If the Interval is 6, the Duration can't be more than 6000. Usually 2500 works just fine. ⢠Use .gifs, they're smaller and will load faster. ⢠Sometimes, if you've been toying with the settings on the slideshow a lot it may get a little mixed up and not function properly. Just delete it and create a new one, it'll only take a few seconds. ![]() |
