There are really no surprises here when it comes to images and how they function in the editor. .PNGs will provide you with the best quality image, but are generally huge and take a while to load. .GIFs are small, but have lousy image quality. .JPEGs are the happy medium.

For the most part you should be using jpegs, unless you're making a Slide Show, in which case gifs would be best.

But how do you add images to your site?

1. Do whatever work you need to do to get the image at the proper size.

2. Upload your image. Top Menu: Files > Upload Files> (select the file you wish to upload)

(Now your image is stored in the site's database.)

3. Top Menu: Add Content > Image > (select file)

4. Drag, or use arrow keys, to the desired position.
