![]() _____________________________ This is a very important step, since this is ultimately how you will show the client the site you have built for them. 1. In your account, Click on the "Domains" tab. 2. Click on "New Host" 3. Choose something simple for the Host Name, then use the drop-down menu to select the site you're working on. BE SURE TO SELECT "NO REDIRECTION." Then click "Save" 4. Now go back to the "Sites" tab. 5. Select the site you're working on and click "Edit Site" (If you haven't finished building your site now would be a good time to do it.) 6. In the menu at the top select: Site > Publish (Before you do this, make sure your File Upload window is closed.) _________________________________ ![]() ![]() _____________________________ Now you can check to see if your host is working - simply open a new browser window or tab and enter the address (it should be something like... "doctorname.yourname.identitystation.com") If you've forgotten what it is, just go back to the "Domains" tab and copy it . Not working yet? It may take a while to start working, up to a half hour in some cases. If you've waited and the link still isn't working try publishing again, and make sure your file upload window is closed. Keep in mind that any changes you make in the site editor will not show up on the host site until you hit the Publish button again. So, if the client asks for some changes, you'll need to go back into the editor, make the changes, then publish again. ![]() |
