Let's say you want to put up a file so that visitors to the site can download it. Something like a PDF, image, Word Document, or even music. Easy as 1-2-3!

1. Upload your file. Top Menu: Files > Upload Files> (select the file you wish to upload)

(Now the file is stored in the site's database.)

2. Top Menu: Add Content > Downloadable File > (select file)

3. Choose the desired settings, then drag it into place.

There are a variety of display settings for downloadable files. You can change the display name, the color and font of the text, and whether or not to have an icon. Usually it's best to just choose something that can be easily read.

Special Note!

If there are text boxes or other page objects near a downloadable file, make sure that they are layered UNDER the downloadable file icon or people may not be able to click on it.
